sara + matt + kinsley + a pause in blogging for a bit
We had a really, really fun time yesterday shooting with the most amazingly warm family on our blog today - Matt, Sara (the brains behind The Card Crate -where you should totally go get your next holiday card!) and Kinsley. That gets cliche to say all the time, we know, but we can't help it - our job is absolutely amazing, not because we love photography so much (and we do, of course), but because of the people we meet and the connections we get to make. Knowing that what we do is going up on walls and in photo albums and is going to be a touchstone connection for a family to a moment in their lives together is pretty unbelievable - it's a welcome responsibility. We had an amazing time and really could write such a long, awesome post about yesterday, but life is currently a bit in the way.
Sooooo - right now, our workload has caught up to and surpassed us (this is our busiest time of the year). We're going to be a LOT less wordy on this post and then this will be the last blog post from us for a bit as we unbury ourselves from our wedding edits. When we get ourselves back on track, we can devote time back to the blog and we will post a post for everything we shoot over the next couple weeks, as always, it just won't be a day or two after like we've been doing all summer. We're worried about doing it because we know that out of sight (site? Is there a pun there?) is out of mind, but we have to focus on getting our clients their photos in a timely fashion right now and the blog takes a TON of our time.
We'll be back soon, and thank you so much to everyone who is a client of ours now, in the past and in the future, and everyone who takes time out of their day to look at our photos. You're amazing.
Perhaps my favorite photo combination ever? Finding the bow...
Nice try, mom!
Guys, thank you SO much, for wanting us for your family shoot. Of all people, I didn't want this to be a "less-than-wordy" post, but we're pretty excited you'll be on the front page of the blog for a while :) Go Bills.
