kristen + sock - we mean scott

Before we go out shooting, I always try to talk a bit about who we're going to shoot because a lot of the time, it's been several months, maybe even a year, since we've seen whomever we're shooting, and I want to remember as much as possible about our conversations. As we were heading out to shoot Kristen + Scott, I was desperately searching around the house for matching socks (an impossible task here), and started talking about Kristen + Sock. Which Rich found endlessly entertaining and started mocking me for. So, I knew it was going to come up during the shoot (Rich likes to embarrass me - it's his hobby), but luckily Kristen + Scott are absolutely hysterical and have ridiculously awesome senses of humor. So, I know I'm going to slip up on their wedding day, so I might as well just keep calling him Sock from now on. Anyway - they met at a Bills game, which is awesome, so we headed down to the Ralph to shoot some photos to start their eshoot. Ouch, Sock, your jersey is already dated!
Yeah - apparently we're maybe going to need Patrick Ramsey jerseys or some such ridiculous shit. Anybody have any fun analogies about being Bills fans? Leave them in the comments - the other day on facebook I compared rooting for the Bills to contracting herpes - so there's that.

Anyway - this is a really cool shot, babe!
Thank you! After the stadium, we popped over to the always gorgeous Chestnut Ridge, where the fall colors were in full swing.
And Kristen + Scott were really a blast to shoot. I love, love, love this one!
Thank YOU - and I do love me some old playground equipment, too - look at that craftsmanship! You just don't get slides like that these days, the ones that you can reach 30 mph on while picking up third degree burns on your thighs from the shiny, rolled-steel surface.
All I think when I see those are the seams you used to get cut on on your way down. There was one giant old metal slide on my grade school playground, and we would hang out at the top during recess. Seriously, once the fifth person hit the top, it would start swaying... freakish. Anyway, look! Some tall grass!
You know that stuff isn't grass, right? It's some random-ass weed.
GEEEEEE QQQQQQ! You guys look awesome together :)
You guys crack us up hard :) We were missing around with poses - and I guess after you call a guy "Sock" for a good hour (even Kristen was calling him sock - it's a movement) he gets to mess with you while you're shooting...
So, randomly there was a bunch of old construction equipment laying around? So, clearly, we had to play with it.
And they were demolishing the tops of the toboggan runs while we were there. And, clearly, the stairs... I'm thinking the next time we get there they'll be completely gone, which is sad, because they were a ton of fun to shoot with :(
So, there I am, busy trying to make Kristen + Sock's shoot awesome and give them spectacular photos, and where do I find Rich? I swear you are 12.
Hey - those things are long gone - I had to climb it one last time...
And then the light got really yummy!
Awesomeness +1,000,000
Guys, thank you both so much for both hanging with us and dealing with us in our rare form. You guys are a riot and we had such a great time. We cannot wait until the wedding!! Thanks, again!
